A place for comfort, connection and genuine human support.
Human beings are wired for connection. We all need to feel seen, heard, valued and cared about.
Sometimes, what we need is not advice. We do not always need someone to fix our problems or tell us what to do. Sometimes, we simply need another person to be present with us.
The Comfort Corner was created because I understand how deeply loneliness, grief, isolation and a lack of affection can affect a person's life. There are moments when people simply need a safe space to relax, talk, feel supported and experience genuine human connection.
Grief can leave someone feeling empty and alone. Loneliness can exist even when you are surrounded by other people. Some people go long periods without experiencing safe, caring physical affection. Others simply miss being hugged, held, listened to or given genuine attention.
There is nothing wrong with wanting comfort.
There is nothing wrong with needing connection.
There is nothing wrong with wanting to feel cared about.
What Comfort Can Look Like
Comfort looks different for everyone.
For some, it may mean sitting together and having a meaningful conversation. For others, it may mean having someone listen without judgment. It may be companionship during a difficult time, a calming presence or simply knowing that someone is there.
For those who choose it, comfort may also include consensual, platonic physical touch such as:
🤍 Hugs
🤍 Holding hands
🤍 Gentle, appropriate physical affection
🤍 Being held
🤍 Hair Play
🤍 Light scratching
🤍 Platonic cuddling
🤍 Body Rubs
🤍 Quiet companionship
🤍 Supportive conversation
Physical touch can be an important part of human connection. For someone experiencing grief, loneliness or a lack of affection, safe and consensual touch can provide a sense of warmth, comfort and closeness.
Every person has different boundaries and needs. That is why communication and consent are at the center of every experience at The Comfort Corner.
A Safe and Respectful Space
The Comfort Corner is a welcoming and judgment free space centered around comfort, connection and support.
Before a session, expectations, boundaries and comfort levels can be discussed so that everyone understands what they are comfortable with.
Physical touch is always optional.
Nothing should ever happen without clear mutual consent.
Every person deserves to have their boundaries respected.
My goal is to create an environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself without pressure, judgment or unrealistic expectations.
All services are strictly platonic and nonsexual.
The Comfort Corner is not a replacement for therapy, medical care, licensed mental health treatment or emergency services.
